We started 10-4 Handyman to give Madison homeowners one reliable person to call for the jobs around the house, and built it on honest work, clear communication, and turning up when we say we will.
Why the name
“10-4” means understood
It is radio shorthand for message received, consider it handled. That is the whole idea. You tell us what needs doing, and we handle it. No three follow-up calls to find out what is happening.
We are a small operation, which means the person who gives you the estimate is the person who does the work. Nothing gets handed off to a subcontractor you have never met.

Fully insured
We carry insurance on every job. You should never take on risk by letting someone work in your home.
Your home protected
Floors covered, edges taped, furniture moved back where it was. The repair should not cost you a carpet.
We turn up
If something changes, you hear it from us first. Not after you have taken a morning off work.
One crew for the list
Several small jobs? We will do them in one visit rather than sending you to three different trades.

If a job needs a licensed electrician or a plumber, we will tell you straight and point you in the right direction.
